I had another bug before solved but as I was testing distros today, when I came back to reinstall this I wasn’t sucessfull

It may be a mirror problem. I suggest you update the mirrors before starting to install.

Installation Log

… error is the same and is only say that installer failed to install needed packages… and this can be caused by different things…

error: failed retrieving file 'thunar-media-tags-plugin-0.3.0-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst.sig' from america.mirror.pkgbuild.com : warning: failed to retrieve some files error: failed to commit transaction (download library error) Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

failing mirror… america.mirror.pkgbuild.com

It’s very annoying because the installer apply a partitioning scheme and after that if a mirror doesn’t work you have to umount root partition and also fix partitions again . is there any way to prevent this things from happening?

I got it working now, changed to a mirror with a much worst rate but at least it works

there is no way to prevent from failing archmirrors, we already have enhanced mirror selection tool but it is not failproof 100%, we used an option before that was able to scip packages that fails do fetch… but this leads to very long install times and also to missing packages.
Current method is working in most cases and is tested also with slow connections.
