Install KDE Plasma alongside LXqt

Hello forum,

are there any problems if I install KDE Plasma after I have already installed LXqt?

I would also like to know how to do this correctly, because there are several options. Which should I choose so that it is exactly as if I had installed KDE Plasma when installing EndeavourOS?

plasma-desktop
plasma
plasma-meta
???

And for the programs?

kde-applications

or

kde-applications-meta?

There will be some challenges. Some settings may not be completely independent between environments.

Unless you are comfortable working through minor conflicts and issues you shouldn’t try to run two DEs.

If you want to use one of the groups, plasma is probably what you want.

You probably don’t want to install this. This is all the kde applications. Hundreds of packages.

One alternative is to use eos-packagelist to install KDE which installs the packages that we would add if you installed from the ISO.

Thank you!
So, is it better to reinstall eos with plasma? My installation is relatively new. LXqt uses qt-6, just like Plasma uses qt-6. qt-5 is not even installed, as far as I can tell. Are there any differences between online and offline installation of EOS KDE?
