it seems not possible to report an issue here, as attaching a log is not possible and including in the message is not possible either.

There is a log tool in the installer. Use that and post the URL.

Sorry, I have the log already. The forum does not allow to attach .txt files and the number of characters is limited - intimidating.
That is why posting the URL is perhaps more practical?
maybe you can try to cat it into the sendlog?
cat logfile.log | eos-sendlog
or maybe even redirect
eos-sendlog < logfile.log

sadly the actual log does not say much on what exactly is not going well…
It shows that it starts creating base-OS from pacstrap module and after this still hangs in the middle of fetching packages.
I see you was not ranking mirrors manually before starting installer?
At the moment there seems to be one or two mirrors from the 30202 archmirrors cauing issues like i see here. hanging on fetching after starting fast going incredible slow.
Two user swith this issue was able to install fast after ranking arch mirrors manually or simple using one good working mirror instead of a ranked list.
Use the welcome app to rank mirrors should do the trick for xou i bet.

Now that you mention it I noticed that the extra repository was really slow a few days ago. So i reranked (if thats a word) the mirrors and all is fine again.
