Hey, I am pretty new to Arch Linux based distros and I want to install Endeavour OS on my PC but my PC is on Legacy Boot and I can’t change it to UEFI because of private reasons. Because I only know how to install some apps on Arch Linux based distros, I want to know if there is an easy way of installing a Bootloader. Doesn’t matter which one, I just need to boot Linux and Windows.
Slimy.
Yes, of course. The installer will install grub if you boot the ISO in legacy mode.
It can dual-boot windows. You don’t really have to do anything special. The installer should take care of it for you.
Thanks for the Info! But it is that easy? Because the last time I googled, it said that you needed to install grub manually
Yes. The ISO supports legacy without any special steps.
Not sure where this information comes from so I can’t comment.
