this is an outdated ISO you need latest ISO.

Could be in addition that something is setup wrong on partitions?
You where using manually partitoning and resizing a partition?

What exactly do you setup for partitions?

It looks like you made your / partition fat32.

That filesystem isn’t POSIX compliant. You can’t install Linux on it.

Ohhh, That makes sense, What would work then? I just clicked the one that i recognized

ext4 is the most common option.

Thanks i will try that, I’ll keep you updated!

Hey so that fixed the original problem but im now facing another problem
https://termbin.com/ee79

That is because you are using an old ISO.

Try unchecking “ipw2100-fw” and “ipw2200-fw” on the screen that lets you choose packages to install or not.

Hey so i cant boot into windows… no idea why, When i try to boot into windows it says something along these lines “No bootable usb drive or floopy detected press any key to try again or restart system”. Does anybody know whats going on with this? (Alll of my files appear inside the live boot where im writing this)

depending on what else you do on partitioning the drives? could you show the output of:
lsblk -f

you can generate pastebin and send URL too
lsblk -f | eos-sendlog

Here you go!
https://clbin.com/pJt6v

sry for delay… just back here ,

sda
├─sda1 ntfs 904CCFF74CCFD65E
└─sda2 ntfs F248478D48475011

so first drive looks like it is holding windows…

and second:

sdb
├─sdb1 ntfs Reservert av systemet 6E3AC76D3AC7313F
├─sdb2 ntfs Nytt volum 262CA9CC2CA99779
├─sdb3 ext4 1.0 50c576f2-b491-40b5-8c39-402ef97f15b0
└─sdb4 vfat FAT32 NO_LABEL 5FBB-12CF

nytt volum means new volume.. looks like you add this for data used by windows before?

But as far as i can see your winows partitions are intact but i do not see any ESP from windows… (the fat32 partition from bootloader) is windows installed in legacy mode?? and you changed to uefi in Bios/Firmware to get Linux installed?

giving
sudo fdisk -l | eos-sendlog
would show more info on partitions

Hey so windows is installed in legacy mode. And i dont think i changed it to uefi but i can check (is it in the bios menu?). And nytt volum is just another drive i added for more storage space

yes i want only to see if you accidently removed something windows needs… but looks like system is set to uefi now and so it can not boot windows installed din Bios/legacy/CSM mode… every Bios/Firmware is different… look for the 3 names Bios Legacy CSM and boot options… should be self-explaining in most cases…
