i have installed i8kutils from the aur (1st solution) a long time ago. Besides, virus-check via clamscan was done, no infected files.
Now it is outdated since 2023-05-26. I wonder, if i should wait whether it will be updated or if i should install i8kutils-git (3rd solution)?
Does the system become seriously vulnerable, containing the outdated version? - The version of the 3rd solution (not outdated) is quite older than the 1st solution.
Is there any suggestion for this issue? - Thanks a lot!
This is just fan control package. I see no issue with trying it. Both are kind of dated anyway.
