Hi, i am failing at installing i3 by following this tutorial. Basically when executing …

Hello and welcome,

As you can see, there are files that can’t be installed because they’re already in your system. Those files belong to the eos-settings-xfce4 package, you need to uninstall it before installing eos-settings-i3wm.

Yes, but is it ok if i delete them? Will xfce still work afterwards?

It’s just some configuration files defined by the EndeavourOS team to give a certain look&feel.
Xfce can work without it, it’s only useful for beginners who don’t know how to set up their desktop yet.

Following your advice i read a little bit for my reassurance and deleted the files with conflicts and now i am in i3 :):):slight_smile: Thank you for support!!!
