It is in Spanish because I speak that language natively.

I tried to decipher this. I think the one question needed to be answered yes to remove the conflicting package.

Edit: Looks like nothing changed because the package nvidia-340-utils are the actual drivers.

I was considering reinstalling Endeavor in case it fixes it (or if the same thing happens again)

If you do want to try reinstalling use the default menu option in the menu not the nvidia option. Then it will install with nouveau open source drivers. Right after reinstalling you would checkinxi -Ga to see if the graphics are running on nouveau. You’ll also see if the resolution is back to normal as you said before it was working. I’m not sure what happened that caused it to not load using nouveau since you said you never installed nvidia drivers.

Ok, I’ll keep you posted. I’m going to sleep now and tomorrow I’ll see what happens.

I already reinstalled EndeavorOS on my computer, now I’ll show you what appeared after installing inxi -Ga

Okay so now it is running on nouveau open source driver. Are you able to set the resolution now?

Yes,It’s in my preferred resolution.

Although I remembered a possibly important fact, because I installed Steam and it gave me a choice (I don’t remember exactly what it was but it gave me the option of Amd, Nvidia, Etc). And I chose Nvidia because it was my graphics card. Maybe that has something to do with it

Okay so you can run on the opensource driver and the only other option for nvidia is the 340,xx version from the AUR. I personally don’t know if you will gain any benefit with the nvidia drivers or whether nouveau opensource works okay for you. Also not sure what messed up in the first place. There was just another new kernel with a bunch of updates.

[ricklinux@plasma-kde ~]$ uname -a
Linux plasma-kde 6.7.5-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sat, 17 Feb 2024 14:02:33 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux
[ricklinux@plasma-kde ~]$

Yes, it’s possible maybe that was the cause. :man_shrugging:

Edit: Glad it’s working now for you.

Thanks for the help
