When I try to poweroff my system (gnome/wayland), it hangs on message from the title and I have to physically unplug it. Can I solve it somehow?
Happens on both LTS and mainline kernels
Thanks in advance

How long did you wait?
Not using gnome myself, but i came across [1].
EOS/Cinnamon here, I sometimes see that, with a proposed 1:49 timeout, and it usually continues after about 1:30. Seems to happen more often when I have remote volumes mounted (like my Nextcloud) in Nemo.
So I always assumed it might want to sync something to the disk first, or Timeshift or Back In Time were just running, and didn’t much care.
I typically just close the lid on my laptop and have it go to suspend/hibernate, and only shut it down every few days, or when an update needs it.
Yeah, but this line was already in the file
