The list of things that has changed in a year and a half are much easier solved by reinstalling at this point. This was originally written with the downfall of forum 2 and the mass exodus out of Manjaro coming here. In internet history, that was like eons ago at this point.
You can keep your home folder but be aware that will also keep all your settings. So if you are having issues on Manjaro, you are probably just going to transfer those issues to EOS.
