I do have it installed and tried reinstalling it.
Try creating the file /etc/lsb-release
with this content:
LSB_VERSION=1.4
DISTRIB_ID=EndeavourOS
DISTRIB_RELEASE=rolling
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="EndeavourOS Linux"
Make sure itās owned by root and has permissions 644.
Hereās how I switched from Manjaro:
I went through my application launcher in Manjaro and made a list of all apps I use. Then I backed up everything I wanted to keep from /home/ben and did a fresh installation. After installing, I added octopi and my wifi driver from AUR with yay. I used octopi to install all of the packages from my list. Finally I spent a little time configuring everything and copied my files from the backup into /home/ben.
I needed to use USB tethering from my phone for the net install and then to download the correct wifi driver from AUR because Linux does not support my adapter, RTL8821CE, out of the box yet.
That worked. Not at first I deleted it and tried again. Awesome, thank you!
Excellent!
see im also making an package which will replace manjaro-system
for those who have chaotic-repo
this is the install file

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/manjaro-bomber/
this is an experimental package im not responsible for any damage that it causes
hello,what kind of danger your package
I ran into some issues with steam and here is how I managed to fix it. I was unable to replace steam-manjaro
as it would always ask to to reinstall it when trying to install steam
and steam-manjaro
does not run, it crashes as you would expect. The way to fix this is to run pacman -Syyu
instead of pacman -Syu
. Then installing steam
will replace steam-manjaro
and should allow you to install steam-native-runtime
if you wish to do so.
well it is not a danger
but still i wont take any responsibility
if by chance it causes problem
though it should not
I canāt imagine that is going to last long in the AUR.
There is a deletion request on it:
https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/aur-requests/2020-July/042972.html
`
haawda [1] filed a deletion request for manjaro-bomber [2]:
I do not think this is suited for AUR - a wiki-article would be
better.

So, it will be deleted within hours.

i knew there will be requests for deleting it

manjaro-bomber, the description alone is priceless.
well the name and description was suggested by pedrohlc
I upvoted it.
