How to show browser open tabs in Application switcher in KDE

Currently if I have multiple tabs that are open in a browser, say Firefox or a fork of firefox, then those do not show up in the application switcher, i.e. when keyboard combination ALT+TAB or when META+TAB or SUPER+TAB keys are pressed. I have the plasma-browser-integration installed. Also in the Firefox browser Plasma Integration extension is installed. The details of KDE are given below

KDE Plasma Ver: 6.5.5
KDE Framework Ver:6.23.0
QT Version: 6.10.2
Graphics: Wayland
Display Manager:SDDM

Is there a way to get the open tabs listed in the application switcher, like Windows does with open tabs in Edge?

I don’t think that is supported, unless it is a new feature. Have you read somewhere that it is possible?

The Plasma Integration extension will show the tabs in krunner and search.

No I have not read somewhere that is supported. I wanted to know if could be possible. And if yes then how?

As far as I know it isn’t currently possible. That switches between windows/applications, not tabs.

As someone who usually has over 100 tabs open between various browsers that sounds like chaos to me but you could always make a feature request to KDE to add support for that.

What if only active tabs are shown? i.e. sleeping or inactive or unloaded tabs are not listed when using the application switcher.

I get it, to have 100 tabs open and then to switch between them and open applications would be a pain in the neck.

over a hundred Tabs?! Blimey I thought I had a lot with ten or so!

100 is more like a minimum number for me.

It isn’t uncommon for me to be over 200.

217 cough cough cough…. BTW about KDE and browsers: it seems that when logging out, KDE closes window-by-window rather than application-by-application, so if I have e.g. several browser windows open, I just lose all of them but the last closed. Anyone else with the same experience?
