How to replace Xfce with Gnome?

I installed EOS with the XFCE desktop but I find it too difficult to control it using the keyboard. So I’d like to replace it with Gnome + GDM, which I’m much better used to.

What would be the best way to do that? Should I reinstall everything using the EOS ISO, or can I achieve the same result using the terminal?
