So i would like to start using hyprland, but I have a problem. All of the programs that come with KDE Plasma still stay after installing it. My friend reccomended that i just reinstall endeavour, but i really dont want to do that. does someone have a script that remove all the programs that come with kde on a fresh install?
Your friend is right.
It’s not just the packages, but also the billions of files that come with a KDE installation.
Not literally billions, of course. But a lot. Uninstalling KDE will not remove all of those files.
I guess another option is to create a new user login with admin privileges, then delete the old one to get rid of all the unneeded files.
But again, still better to reinstall. That way your installation only has what you need.
It would be way easier to start from scratch, I don’t think there is a script or anything like that (could be wring) but here is a list of what installs when you choice kde

Thank you! I will use this
you’re welcome
