How to recover a lost VeraCrypt Volume?

This is how I “recovered” my VeraCrypt volume:

  1. Open KDE Partition Manager.
  2. Since I recovered other partitions using TestDisk the only remaining space is the VeraCrypt volumne. Right click on it and select “new”. For the filesystem select “UNFORMATTED”. Click ok.
  3. Apply changes and close KDE.
  4. Now select this in the VeraCrypt and do your thing! (enter password etc)
