How to quickly switch typing language?

I can’t find the info online. So, here is it
Newbie question.
I would like to find out if it is possible to quickly switch between languages when typing?
Not interested to change anything else (location, currency, units, etc…). Just when typing in browser, chat app, text (office) file…
Particularly interested in cyrilic fonts / keyboard.
I’m currently using Xfce. Maybe have to change the environment?

Thank you

I take it as you mean switching between keyboard layouts. Then perhaps installing and adding this plugin to the panel could help:

 pacman -Ss xfce4-xkb-plugin
extra/xfce4-xkb-plugin 0.8.2-1 (xfce4-goodies)
Plugin to switch keyboard layouts for the Xfce4 panel

I guess you could set a keyboard shortcut as well to switch between layouts (if it is not already set to something like Alt+Space).

Nice. Thank you. YES. That’s exactly what I needed. Now I know how to change layouts in Keyboard app.

Another newbie question:
I assume that the different environments have different plugins foe keyboard layout?

Sounds great!

I guess different DE:s handle this a bit differently. In GNOME, that I mostly use, you can set the keyboard layouts in the Settings and it will automatically add a switcher to the taskbar. So no extra plugin needed.

Also, welcome to the community @Limen!
