How to install brave browser after the attack on AUR repo

I want to install brave browser but I want to be safe before installing it using AUR

read the PKGBUILD and make sure its legit and then install. I have been using Brave from the AUR for a few years now and never had issues. If you don’t feel comfortable with the AUR then you can always try a flatpak I suppose.

What thefrog said. If you aren’t sure if the PKGBUILD is safe, grab the Flatpak version of it of Flathub. It seems to be maintained by someone at Brave Software so… yeah.

Can be installed via AM/AppMan package manager. I prefer AppMan (local) installation.
