I want to play games that use middle mouse press as a way to move camera but somewhere in the system it is set so that if I press middle mouse and move the mouse it acts as a mouse wheel.
I am using KDE Plasma on Wayland.
Is there any way to change this behaviour?
Check in the settings app:
Mouse & Touchpad → Mouse
In the ‘Device’ dropdown ensure your mouse is selected
At the bottom of the menu under ‘Scrolling’, make sure that ‘Press middle button and move mouse to scroll’ is unchecked.
I don’t seem to have the setting.
What do you have under the ‘Rebind additional mouse buttons’ menu?
I have updated plasma and got that option.
If only the update didn’t break other things but that is another topic entirely.
