How to change the PrtSc toggle to Lightshot?

I installed Lightshot, a screenshot app, using Wine.

This is the command I used:

wget http://app.prntscr.com/build/setup-lightshot.exe
wine ./setup-lightshot.exe

The apps hotkey is the PrtSc key. But on pressing PrtSc, the default screenshot app launches.

How do I get Lightshot to launch when I press PrtSc?

neofetch output for reference

Is there a specific reason you need Lightshot? If not then Flameshot seems to be a better option. No need to have another API running for it.

Wouldn’t the “how do I …” depend on the desktop environment (or window manager) in use?

My apologies. I have edited the post with more details.

Hello,

I guess I have to learn to dig around when looking for apps. I used Lightshot on Windows and didn’t bother to search any alternatives for Linux.

Installed Flameshot after reading this, it’s working nicely.

Thanks!

No problem. On Arch or Arch-based system, you can find a lot of software that provides similar functions to Windows stuff. Arch has the AUR in there you might even find the same windows software built from sources. Just do a search if not just search here or ask some would know of Linux replacment.
