Hey, noob here. I want to set up an audiocast device https://audiocast.io/ in such way that I can send my computer audio through the wifi network. Apps like mkchromecast or gnomescreenscast dont work since Im guessing the device isnt actually a chromecast. Any ideas? If real time audio is not possible, casting audiofiles would be ok too.
I managed to get spotify working, but for casting files the device suggests using Itunes, which is a hassle in Linux. Thanks
GoogleCast Audio Killer ?
What exact device?
They do not give much info on the website and seems only supporting itunes on PC. could work using android emulation on a Linux PC
Im using the M5 product. The thing is I would want a simple solution, meaning I can just launch from my desktop, it seems very unconvinient if I have to emulate Android just to play files, the point of the device is to make playing music comfortable.
Like, my device is connected to the wifi, Spotify app can just send music to it and play it no problem, I just have no clue what kind of protocol it uses so that I know what to look for in my audio player.
