How tight is your DNS filter?

Came across this link on another site and after a few adjustments I’m sitting at 92% blocked.

Same here, 92% blocked.

Edit:
Correction, when run own test it’s just 54% blocked

ı use mullvad dns main 194.242.2.3 other 192.242.2.4

My pi-hole blocked me, because I make to many DNS requests in a short time.

Not sure if you heard, but…

ım usıng Quad9 now

Try running the test above and make sure you press “Run your own test” and share your results.

That was the same score I started with.

ok nice

Not that bad i think (Unbound+Pihole).

I got 67 % blocked with pi-hole. Maybe it’s time to share blocklists.

I’m not sure how effective my block lists are. Please note that a lot of adult websites are blocked as well.

You could probably get by with fewer after all, there are 61 blocklists, which might be a bit too much.

(A few lists are specific to this location (Germany))

Ungoogled Chromium:

Librewolf (without uBlock origin):

Firefox (no addons):

I’d say 94% is the most realistic of the results.

I surely never got 97% but to get to 92% I added two more blocklists to ublock origin.

So people, why do you not like internet? Why do you block it all.

I’ve got a severe advertisement allergy.

They make a pill for that.

Well in our case, only 72.4% is blocked and that’s largely thanks to the two Roku players we have at home.

Close enough…
