How many of your devices are running Linux?

Pretty much any computer I get my hands on

Congrats! I’ve been looking into replacing my iPhone with something Graphene compatible.

Currently, we I have:

  • my current school laptop, a Dell Latitude, runs Endeavour
  • M1 Pro MBP (Fedora Asahi running Sway)
  • my old daily driver 2015 MBP (was running as a server)
  • a Core2Duo MacBook that I don’t have the heart to recycle.***

Shared devices:

  • Hot-rodded Dell XPS 8930, with an upgraded PSU, GPU, and 32GB of RAM. Started as my setup for multimedia stuff at school, evolved into a shared gaming/design/work PC in our art room. Runs Mint right now for accessibility reasons.
  • an HP 2-in-1, running LMDE. Second computer in the art room, specifically there to use as a drawing tablet.
  • Pi 5, running Endeavour ARM. Mostly a media center now, but I’m finally getting around to configuring pi-hole and some other services on it.

A lot of those were salvage or repair projects. The only devices I actually paid for are the M1 Pro and Pi 5.

***came from an auction listing it as “not working, for parts” and mislabeling it as a MacBook Pro. I thought I was getting a cheap source of parts for my girlfriend’s laptop. Received a fully functional, different model instead :woman_shrugging:

All of my personal devices (with the exception of my Garmin fitness tracker) run a Linux kernel. That’s this laptop, my home server, a raspberry pi and my Pixel which runs GrapheneOS. However, my work laptop runs Windows 11 and my work phone is an iPhone. :frowning:

Same thing not counting mobile, 3 and 1. But not because Linux is that perfect, I just cannot tolerate Windows any more.
