How do I install drivers on 1050ti?

You cannot install drivers on the 1050ti, you can however install the drivers on your system

Run this command:

yay -S nvidia-580xx-dkms nvidia-580xx-utils nvidia-580xx-settings lib32-nvidia-580xx-utils

If you are about to freshly install EndeavourOS I would suggest to not use the Nvidia option on the select screen, just use the standard option given. Then go through the install. This way it should install the nouveau drivers. Once you are in your installed system, you can run the command MicheIN gave you above:

yay -S nvidia-580xx-dkms nvidia-580xx-utils nvidia-580xx-settings lib32-nvidia-580xx-utils

This will then give you the Nvidia drivers for your GPU.

Reason for why you can’t have the easy way is your GPU just isn’t supported anymore, so you have to use the last driver that works for you. The GTX 10XX series (Pascal) didnt make the cut. Anything later GTX 16XX / RTX 20XX (Turing) and later works with the new/current drivers.

thx bro!!!

Well, that’s more of a compulsion than a recommendation, the Nvidia boot option doesn’t support the 1050ti, and has the nouveau driver on the blacklist, so at best it would load in a very slimmed-down fallback mode.

I can only give recommendations and suggestions as I am quite literally a noob.
So I can only give knowledge as far as I understand it, as I am quite oblivious to what happens if you do it differently

Also I have no idea what “compulsion” means. And translation tools confuse me even more as the tell me it’s something psychological… I don’t think this is what you mean in that context, I will just go with “that what I said you have to do else it won’t work so don’t take it as suggestion, just do it”? I guess.

obligation would be a better word indeed.
I just wanted to bring some fun into my answer, that shouldn’t be a criticism of course.
