I thought sudo
meant using root? I guess you mean sudo su
?

Just in case you are seeking clarity. Using root can be dangerous so be careful!

I did write to the file, but it still has the same issue
This was temporary to see if either one was the issue. Not permanent if restarted.

I didn’t even restart it and it still failed.
Obviously then it’s something else causing it.
Yes I know, do you know how do I find out what my mouse and keyboard use (like for exmaple is it EHCI etc)?
