How do I configure the Application Menu?

Before I start let me say that I’m a complete beginner when it comes to WM’s.

How do I hide applications from the Application Menu (the menu that displays the system apps after clicking the rocket button) And is there a way for me to also hide the extra icons on the top bar such as the eye and the keyboard layout logo?

Thanks.

in ~/.config/waybar/config

you see configurations

is set in two pieces which modules that show in panel and down other modules which what it is… the eye, thats just a presentation mode  but in the first part you can put // infront of the modules
then restart
