How can I fix Screen Tearing on LXQt

Hi guys, I recently installed Endeavour with LXQt and setupped it a bit. I noticed since the first boot that there is a lot of screen tearing, and i wanna fix that. I’m using a laptop which has a Core i7 with the integrated gpu being an Intel Iris Xe and the discrete an NVIDIA GeForce MX330.

I tried doing the 20-intel.conf into the X11 conf folder but it then didnt boot and had to remove it via shell at boot.

did you tried picom?

@Creeper215
all your responders here are right. When I ran LXQT I had to have picom. LXQT is so better with a compositor. It will clean up a lot of rough edges. Spend some time playing in the .conf file. There’s a decent amt of settings/opacities etc.

i market the link :smile:
