How can i fix GNOME shutting down apps that use too much memory?

Sooo… It’s quite a long story.
I’ve been using hyprland, yeah? I like it.
But my pc started randomly shutting down.
After a lot of troubleshooting, it all came down onto a loose GPU cable.
And i thought it’s hyprland’s fault!
And now i’m on gnome.

So. I like BeamNG.Drive, right?
My PC isn’t too great, 16gb ram.
When i try to spawn in traffic, however, gnome very much does not like that, and kills both BeamNG.Drive and steam, because they “use too much memory”.

I really hate this feature, and i want to stop it from doing that.
Can i? If so, how?
thanks for reading!

I’ll bite
How did you come to this conclusion? Hyperland is just software and can’t do anything to a cable.

It is the electrons pushing from one side until the plug is loose. A most common phenomenon.
