Hot Corner support

Hi Folks,

I tried to activate hot corner support at Budgie. Just installed budgie-extras package and also check the daemons at the window preview control. As I add the hot corner applet, I can’t access the preference pane there. What I do wrong here?

Hi @decorum and welcome to the forum.
It seems some things are missing to use hotcorners.

  1. Put this into Autostart:
/usr/lib/budgie-hotcorners/budgie-hotcorners &
  1. The Hotcorners Settings (Preferences) can be called by
    /usr/lib/budgie-hotcorners/budgie-hotcorners-settingswindow

Make a shortcut to call it if you like
and so Hotcorners applet can be removed from panel. Only Enable/Disable is functional.
Optional things:

dbus-launch (once)
sudo chown a:a /run/user/1000/dconf/user #'a' is my user

I tested it with skippy-xd. Further fixes are needed. Relogin is not enough after any change.

Hey, it works. Thanks for the warm welcome and the fix. I have worked with Budgie on Solus for a long time. There it works out of the box as you installed the needed widgets.
