Help - Timeshift in Live USB Mode as device UUID not found

Yes, as an Emacs user, it has pre-compiled up-to-date bleeding edge builds for me to use. Also has lots of other good stuff and cuts down compiling.

Wow, that’s quite a list!

[archlinuxcn]
Server = https://repo.archlinuxcn.org/$arch

will go right into my pacman.conf just in case I need something from there.

Yep, that’s what I meant.

timeshift-bin is not updated yet, still not working for me.
I am prepared to wait longer, since waiting ages for the non -bin to build is annoying.

The AUR package took somewhat less than two minutes to build:
69.72user 20.95system 1:51.61elapsed 81%CPU

edit 1: … and install. BTW :slightly_smiling_face:

edit 2: … and for a more complete account, the following packages needed to be downloaded and installed as well on this system:

Packages (11) docbook-xml-4.5-9  docbook-xsl-1.79.2-7  glib2-docs-2.68.2-1  graphviz-2.47.2-1
              gtk-doc-1.33.2-1  gts-0.7.6.121130-2  netpbm-10.73.33-1  python-anytree-2.8.0-3
              python-lxml-4.6.3-1  python-pygments-2.9.0-1  vala-0.52.4-1

So …

And the bin version from AUR takes 0 minutes to build.

I understand that the subjective experience of time is very different for different people. Perhaps you perceive the time span between 0 minutes and less than 2 minutes as “ages”. Waiting hours/days for the bin must feel like awful lots of “ages” then :wink:
