But since its in conflict with glibc I don’t think so that I can remove that package, what is the safest way to install this? does this cause any issues?
The glibc package is a core package. Removing it breaks pretty much everything.
Replacing it seems to be a high-level task, different from typing “Y” to accept. I imagine Garuda or some other gaming distro may have glibc-eac as their default.
Maybe someone here will know how to troubleshoot it, but in general, any game with anti-cheat may not work on Linux. And furthermore, you may be banned for playing the game on Linux, so it may not be worth the effort.
However, because it’s such a core package, I would not be surprised if you got another error complaining about dependencies. If you do, post it here.
NOTE: Make sure to install it using yay -Syu glibc-eac. This ensures the rest of your system is fully up-to-date to avoid issues with the package.
Finally, once it is installed, whether it causes issues or not, or allows you to play the game or not, would be seen after you say “Yes” to the replacement and reboot.
