Hello, long time user

Been using Endeavour for a while, I really just made an account to ask for help with stuff I can’t figure out. So, uh, hello?

If by ‘a while’ you mean 2-3 years then you have had a good run not directly asking for help. maybe search engines and search function here have been your best friends?
either way, right on.

Wow, I didn’t expect to get so many nice replies!

Yeah, 2-3 years at least, probably 4 or more at this point. Usually I just use the Arch wiki or read the documentation if somebody hasn’t already tried doing what I’m trying to do. Can’t live without the AUR at this point, makes things so much better!

  1. that is a testament to the durability of Endeavour itself–it never borked on you. AND
  2. to you, too, for not panicking and taking care of business yourself. I joined forum as soon as I installed it (I was unfamiliar with arch) and for every problem this kind crowd listened to me scream to the heavens and had patience with me.

tell me about it

great group, ain’t it?
