Hello! I backed up Windows, erased my drive, and installed EndeavourOS!

And here I was observing the FDA being funded by big pharma to push their snake oil. Silly me. :grin:

Wow, @Orca you remembered the history. I wouldn’t have been chatting today had it not been for James Cook sailing the HMS Endeavour to Australia. My forefathers were on that ship (as paying passengers) not convicts as far as the historical records show :rofl:

A big welcome to @treacle aboard the good ship :enos:

Sorry, but this has nothing to do with grammar, the slightly different spelling of Endeavour is at most a spelling or typing error. Just wanted to shit also times smart … :nerd_face:

@treacle: Welcome to the club!

Welcome I did the same erase window! Now I’m with Endeavour for the past year, I still have no idea what I’m doing but I learn so much each day!

I used the offline install option because the installer explained that this installs Xfce with the OS theme. It’s nice.

Btw online install of xfce should also install it with eos theming. At least you can check the packages installed when launching calamares.

Then you don’t have to run updates since the last iso was issued as it will pull all recent packages during install.
