I’m a long time Linux tinkerer. I still have Windows installed, but use Mint about 75% of the time. This is my first true install of Endeavor after trying it in VM several times, and liking it. For now, I have it on an external drive (Samsung T7). If all continues to go well I plan to make room and install Endeavor internally.
I don’t do much distro hoping anymore, because Mint has been perfectly stable, (although Cinnamon is a little boring.) But from time to time I try something on my external drive. Within the past week I tried 3 different distros and the only keeper is Endeavour. Which is great because at the age of 70, no patience remains to mess around setting up Arch - though I love the concept of Arch.
One comment: The only distros that automagically detected my hybrid graphics system were Mint, and I think Fedora did last time I tried it. So I need to figure that out in Endeavour.
