I’m still getting familiar with EndeavourOS and the forum, so I was wondering if there are any beginner guides, important sections, or community rules that you recommend I read first. I’d also love to know if there are any good places on the forum to ask questions or connect with other users.

There’s a couple useful links at the top of the page to get you started, which I suspect include much of the things you mentioned.

Under Help you’ll find forum specific tips and guidelines. The Forum Log Tool section is actually broadly useful, in helping you retrieve (and share) important information about your system.

The Wiki section has a number of articles about aspects of EndeavourOS (and often Arch more broadly).

Then of course, there’s the Arch Wiki, which is broadly applicable to EndeavourOS. It can be a bit more technical, but if you get stuck with anything, you can always ask in the forums here.

Feel free to raise any questions you may have, or need of support in new topics, or join in the more casual conversations within the Lounge section.

As @Bink pointed out, for EOS specifically, there’s the wiki for more info about setting up bluetooth, printing, tools, rescue tooling etc.

NY is such a varied state. NYC is glorious. An island (no pun) unto itself. Nothing else is like it as far as sensibility. Further up (what I call “upstate”) New Paltz to Albany, the vibe of the city is still felt.

Central NY is completely different. Except for Syracuse it’s completely rural with so many important and vital small towns. Elmira to Corning to Oswego to maybe Binghamton. Ithaca and the FLX too.

Western NY, Rochester excluded, is rural as well, but basically where the Midwest starts imo.

As much as I hate being in cities New York City is a place I would love to see with my eyes just once

Seeing’s believing. I worked in “The City” over 45 years. I walked its midtown in downtown streets just as long … lunch breaks w/out “the team” thank God. You can see it all, man. You can even find the bullet holes in the stones from the 1920 robbery on Wall Street, right underneath and across narrow Wall Street & almost directly in front of Federal Hall where G. Washington’s lookin’ out at you.

But what you can’t see anymore from midtown or anywhere else in the city are the two WTC towers way out there, way up there. Could see them from my window in Queens way back then every time I looked out and over Shea Stadium. Yeah, that’s gone too.
