Hello. New EOS user here. Years ago I started with Ubuntu, at some point I found myself using Debian, after that I migrated to KDE (when Gnome 3 came out) and recently I was on KDE neon. Most recent OS was Manjaro (excellent OS btw) but now here I am. I have no deep knowledge of Linux systems, I still consider myself pretty much as a dumbuser. But somehow I’ve managed to solve most of issues by simply google’ing the problem and most of times there is a workaround available, therefore you probably will not see me posting very often.

Actually I’ve already changed to Steel color scheme which I blatantly copied from OpenSUSE iso :rofl:

Hi, @hannes - Manjaro worked well for me also, until, at one point in time, it did not anymore (crashes of the OS) - that’s when I stepped over to EOS. Have not looked back since.

So far EOS is really working well for me and my use case.

I hope (and am confident) you’ll have the same experience.

Heck, after a few days of using EOS I wouldn’t exactly describe it as a terminal-centric distro:smiley: Or more precisely, it’s not more so than any other distro IMO. So far great.
