Hello (eos) World!

Hello everyone!

I’m new to the traditional forum format, apologies if this is in the wrong space!

A brief whois: I’m just a youngin’ who recently took the Linux/Open Source pill. I’m nearing the completion of a degree in cybersecurity, so I’m constantly looking to learn new things to expand my knowledge-base (and to mess with!). Recently, I’ve begun tinkering with RTL-SDRs, WiGLE, and homelabs. Currently, I’m studying for the CISSP and having internal debates about learning Rust.

After three years of distrohopping, I must say, I think I’ve found my home! Nearing the end of my degree, I decided it was time to jump out of the “safety” of vanilla Fedora and gain some experience with Arch. Hats off the the devs/community, it was a seamless transition, aided by wonderful documentation.

Nevertheless, I’ve always wanted to contribute to a project. But with my (very) beginner-intermediate skills, I’m not quite sure how to! Any recommendations are much obliged!
