Helium browser does no support DRM. Streaming services like Netflix, Amazon prime, DAZN, Spotify, etc. do not work. That is a no-go for me.
Do you perhaps mean “the original Brave when it first came out”?
The quite recently released Brave Origin (still available in beta and nightly) is nothing like that.
Now some people have objections against the Company &Co but that’s food for another thought.
There is no one browser that works for everyone, some people run two browsers.
The main thing is to use what works for you.
? If it is Chromium based then it’s trash like all others.
I tried it twice.
Do not/did not like the experience much. Too busy.
Trivalent and Ungoogled are about the only chrome knock-offs I use

I have a problem with Google Chrome, not it’s parent Chromium. Vivaldi is Chromium based and it a great browser. But, as they say, to each their own.
How did Helium/Firefox get a random fingerprint? On my firefox I get that I have a unique fingerprint.
OK but All Chromium based browsers have to follow Google’s Manifest V3 for extentions witch is bad especially for Ad-blockers(like Ublock Origin).
And you can’t be anywhere on the internet without a add-blocker it’s a horror show 
As a side note built in add-blockers suck.
helium comes with ublock origin already installed. I have viewed a few yt vids with it an got no ads. So I’m failing to see the problem
Not entirely true. As of writing, Vivaldi, Brave and Operas till supports Manifest V2 extensions to varying degree.
In Brave, for example, you could install Manifest V2 uBlock Origin and NoScript from within the browser itself and use them instead of its own built-in Shield.
With that said, you are perfectly entitled to your opinion and aversion to Chromium-based browsers. I am just saying that for “The Records”. 
PS. by the way, MV2 uBlock works still on Ungoogled Chromium (too).

Well, as others have stated already, that’s not true. Until I narrow down my final choice for a Chromium-based browser, I still have Vivaldi, Helium, and Brave Origin installed. All three have uBlock Origin working exactly as expected.
If you don’t like Chromium-based browsers for whatever reason, that’s totally fine. Though I must admit that I’m curious as to why. But it really doesn’t matter, because Linux is all about choice. You do exactly as you like.
Well, that was easy. I do like Helium a LOT. Shame there is no DRM support. Down to 2 choices now. Vivaldi and Brave Origin.

I don’t have Helium so I cannot test but if you feel like to you could try to copy over the WidevineCdm directory under the Brave Origin’s in .config into the Helium’s.
It may work but yet it may not perhaps because of version mismatch or a number of other reasons unknown to the Man 
I searched online and this was one of the suggestions. I tried it and it did not work.

That’s not true for ungoogled-chromium (helium is a modified UC), read on
I use it for ~2 years now, side by side with firefox just in case, with ublock origin and all my fav extensions like Bitwarden etc.
