I did a fresh install of xfce desktop. ran updates. Audio mixer shows the headset microphone but it doesn’t detect any sound. I moved from ubuntu to arch because some stuff wasn’t working on debian due to the new 12th gen intel cpu. I am not much experienced with linux.
what can I do to fix this. I checked headset microphone in windows, and it is working there.
