HDR color instability in Plasma

Has anyone noticed an apparent instability (for lack of a better word) in Plasma. I had been annoyed by an issue where when I mouse around, parts of my browser (where I notice it most) would somewhat subtly shift colors/intensity. It was most noticeable on a white background it seemed.
Deciding to be properly annoyed and chase it a little while this morning, I found that Cosmic desktop didn’t have the issue, so that lead me to play with Plasma display settings and I found that turning off HDR seemed to correct the issue. I would like to say that it came during this weeks kdegears update, but it could possibly predate that by a day…not sure how long I put up with it..thinking something like…whoops electrical fluctuation/glitch in my monitor/eyesight (and no I did not check my connection nor reboot my eyeballs).
Just checking to make sure I don’t need new eyeballs (yes I do) or haven’t fallen on my head too many times.

Sadly it continues and it may just be HDR on Plasma. I realized that I typically have Dark Reader enabled on that site, so I only noticed this when I turned it off. Not sure I can unsee it though :0

I’m not sure what the current status of HDR on Plasma is, but for Nvidia in particular (which I’m using on my workstation), it was incredibly buggy to the point of killing the desktop session in earlier Plasma 6 releases.

I’ve left it alone for now as I think in some cases it’s still deemed experimental.

After running it as default for nearly a year, after my episode in the last week (this thread), I have decided my eyes are happier with it off (at least for now).
Funny how seeing one thing causes instant repulsion.
