Happy New Year (well and conclusion of the current year)

I debated when to post this, but I thought getting a somewhat early start would be good before folks all disappear for the holidays.
I wish everyone a wonderful and fantastic conclusion of this year and a new adventures in the next!
(yes I had to polarize it with an image…because…well)

So is it too soon in a personal way (ie you can’t believe it’s already here) or you think I posted too soon ? hahaha
Remember, " A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to…"

The New Year is still more than a week away :squinting_face_with_tongue:

But less than 2 weeks  It seemed time..maybe ?

I think it’s always a good moment to wish people all the best - and I do return the sentiment wholeheartedly.

The older I get the less I understand of what is going on in these frantic times and world of ours; but time spent on this forum is, for me, very much an antidote to any skepticism and apprehension I may feel.

It’s the best of times, it’s the worst of times, as Charles D i c k e n s wrote.
And that seems to be spot on for any time.

All the best everyone!
Know what is important for you, and care for all that as well as you can.

Does that mean it’s too early for New Years resolutions?

this

Never too early Rick, it takes time to figure out one that’s a sure success

Oh my, I got up this morning and there are NO new updates. Did Arch declare a holiday moratorium?

I hear ya, @dbarronoss! No Arch updates, no AUR updates, no Flatpak updates! What do they think this is, a holiday or something?!

I had an AUR update so I’ve had my fix!

I hadn’t used my desktop for several days, so this morning I had 18 updates. I’ve had my fix.

Downgrade some packages and upgrade them a couple of hours later.

You’ll get some placebo effect.

Here speaks experience, me thinks…:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Yeah, years of experience of having helped out people in dire straits

Now is Betwixtmas and the time is very close…
