Hangs on boot after install of Nvidia drivers

I’ve been trying this all day. I’ve tried every variation of the Nvidia drivers (I HAVE installed them recently on previous installs) and every time I install them, on boot the operating system hangs. And always at the same place.

Always when it says “IPv6: ADDRCONF((NETDEV_CHANGE): wlan0: link becomes ready”

Now I know this surely has to do with the Nvidia drivers but it’s frustrating because I do need them.

Any help would be tremendously appreciated.

If you have a recent Intel cpu? If so, add ibt=off to your kernel parameters.
