Gwenview is crashing while closing

Hello, I have issue with crashing gwenview, typically it crashes when I am closing application. I am running wayland with Plasma 6.5, Qt 6.10, Nvidia 580.95.05-7. Log is below. Any ideas?

what exactly is crashing while closing gwenview? log looks like app is working fine only some error messages about non resolved mimetype and exif data

The only thing I see in your output is a sigkill which is probably Ctrl + C

i also have no issues with gwenview on a fresh installed fully updated KDE.
Seems it does not have any close option in menu… so closing it over the window

Hamburger → More → File → Quit. It’s well hidden and easier to close it using the window decoration.

Good old Alt+F4 key combination also does the trick , for almost any application I can think of.

It crashes when I cancel application - in most cases by pressing close button on window decorator. Closing it with quit in hamburger menu seems by okay. Do you have idea how can I get log with more details? Or how can I identify where is the problem?

thats not a crash thats termination mesage as of using the “x”

Yes, that’s not. When I click on “x” it freezes and then I must click on “Terminate Gwenview” after while (dialog because it is not responding) or close it with ctrl+C.

log said its terminated.
Could be something related to Window Manager or gpu/driver ? I also searched BUG reports but there is nothing i can see that reports such thing.

I don’t have X11 so I don’t know if it works there.

so you do not use any switcher tool to use the Nvidia GPU? it is rendering on the igpu it seems

I am using prime-run. Behavior is same with running via prime-run. I thought that nvidia-prime is for ubuntu?

Yeah, prime-run I am using. But it seems that problem is independent on GPU.
