Eh… ChatGPT already exists and I’m not sure if I want to make a Twitter account to use a likely subpar LLM.

Wow, another highly inaccurate, pointless piece of AI :poop: that they could not “monetize”. I tried a lot of LLMs a few weeks ago, pointless.

Yesterday I updated my tablet, I left Windows on it to update firmware etc. It has Co-pilot, whilst I went through the interminable process of Windows update - I had a play, guess what:

Completely safe for work:

:poop:

What scares me is that X is a battleground of miss-information, made worse by Musk, add this tool into it and I predict the end of days…

The thing Musk does not get, is his customer base of tree-hugging, milk float driving customers are diametrically opposed to everything he eschews. Plonker.

I give you the new Tesla:

I fell for the click bait too

wonder how it compares to chatgpt, or stable diffusion since it does image gen too. I have quite low hopes, while some of the image generation ai is extremely impressive, i’ve never been impressed by general chatbots like gpt, they lack a fact checking function so they spew nonsense a lot.

I wonder if they lack fact checking functions because it’s an oversight, or because it would make it harder to use it to spew propaganda for whichever political agenda is reigning at any given time.

Man tries to combat censorship on twitter, and all the pro-censorship people instantly hate him, what a surprise

When you have views that cannot withstand criticism, of course you need to have all opposing views suppressed, and them no longer being as heavily suppressed will make you panic because it’ll become harder to pretend that everyone agrees with you.

 :coffee: please

I have to admit to being a tree-hugging electric car owner  (It is a Skoda though, not a Tesla, would not give that man any money).

I work in health care, our car park has around 5 Teslas parked in it - all doctors, seems to be their “status” symbol. One of the consultants has broken ranks though, she bought this enormous BMW milk float (think it is an iX60? so £75k - £125k), so I expect they will now be envious

 " Tree-hugger" that no worry about Impact of Lithium and Cobalt Mining?

or damage that windfarm base have on ocean +marine life … Any way all social media like X ,FB ,tiktok are brain cell destroyers (IMO) dangerous at best

 i hear Tea most drink in UK… I a coffee person my self .

I live in Yorkshire, and yes, tea is popular (not for me though), and yes, whilst we may not be pumping out CO2, we are still killing the planet, but who cares, I will be long dead

Tea is not popular with young people anymore and one of the big names in UK tea “Typhoo” were going bust in the last couple of weeks.
