Gnome running smooth on one pc, but slow on other

i cant find it but is google
i just wanted help to my fellow czech

That’s perfectly fine. You could try helping any fellow forum member but as I said:

Whatever Google search results you found to tell you:

are apparently wrong. And echoing it uncritically here on the forum is not a correct thing to do.

You may need to look into other search engines as Google has been quite imaginative in giving advice lately, like putting glue on pizza and that’s not the most problematic one.

If you say something is a fact and you don’t share the sources, it’s not a fact. And a fact comes from multiple source, not just one.

My freshly booted system with Gnome it uses 3.5G ram, that’s before I open anything else. I think that’s pretty good, especially considering that the norm for ram now days is 16G.

what norm for ram now days is 16G. what year is it.
no seriously 16G is still lot for most people

what other search engines i should try

I’m talking about per-built PC’s that are considered workstations(office, email and web-browser use, including video streaming and online video-conferencing. ) the norm is 16G of ram and for pre-built PC’s that are considered gaming systems the norm is 32G. Scanned different online computer stores in my country.

pre-built PC’s that are considered gaming systems the norm is 32G. we are getting older

I literally said that?

Is this what you were looking for?

i think thats the one

the you know any good search engines

Not any single one can be good for every single use case. Please do some research on existing alternatives to Google search engine. And do some further research on them to see if they meet your requirements.

If the privacy respecting aspect of a search engine is of your concern, you could have a look at this old thread for getting some ideas:

thanks i gonna look it to it later because i am in collage
