I also had problems with the October iso. Gnome, budgie, deepin desktop would not start up after logging in. Just a white screen and cursor. Like you installing from the August iso solved it
i think it would help so much since endeavouros is a rolling release, iso is basicly just updated on packages and kernel, theoretical its pure theoretical i say, as example
you install from august is fine while october doesnāt that means after all updates it should not work as it is. will see the minor difference of those offcourse , but i got a theory but in vbox could not remake the issue. i think rater you can have in the november release also those issue because lack of feedback i supposeā¦
if the test doesnt work again then check for me .xprofile uncheck it then after the failā¦
Today I have made a complete new install with the december version.
And, hooray, this time Gnome is working fine!
there was an GNOME update in between
I have not tried a newly installation with the new Gnome version.
All my PCs are already installed with EOS and Gnome and are all running fine.

No worries with rolling release you may already have the updated Gnome version 3.36
