Gimp error after opening file and exiting.. (on two systems)

I have this error on both of my systems using EOS. Whenever i open or create a image and use the pencil on it i’ll get a “memory access error” on exiting gimp (reported by gimp). Both systems have been tested with Memtest so i think this is a bug or related to some “access” issues. Does someone know how to fix it?

There are no EOS Crash logs. The only log i get is from the GIMP Crash Dialog opening up on exiting Gimp. I can give you that if you need it? Pasted it here
Gimp doesn’t “really” crash. It’s just the dialog popping up after editing a image then exiting Gimp.

I just made another discovery: The Issue only seems to appear if you don’t save the changes made in the image. If you save it it works without crashing after exiting. Otherwise i’ll get that stupid dialog on exit.

The other system is pretty much the same. Just a 5600X/6600RX and less RAM instead.

In case someone is having the same issue. I have found a open issue about this on the Gimp Gitlab. So this issue seems known. Therefore i think no one will be able to help here

I also have the problem, but it is the same whether I save or not. The crash dialog always appears when I close GIMP.

It’s happening here when i “discard” changes. So if you saved and then do changes that you discard it will also crash. It only doesn’t crash when you don’t discard any changes. You might have a look here to see if you have the same issue.
