So, I had an issue when updating my system today. It likely stems from the ncurses going from 6.5-4 → 6.6-1 here.
I use ghostty with KDE plasma 6.
I saw on GitHub on this discussion but didn’t understand the solution here:
From what I understand, you have to do something like
sudo ln -s /usr/share/terminfo/g/ghostty /usr/share/terminfo/x/xterm-ghostty
but i am not sure what the implication and issue that would cause.
If you have the same issue and found the solution, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

I had the same issue. I finally installed with
yay –-overwrite’*’ …
The link you created with
ln -s /usr/share/terminfo/g/ghostty /usr/share/terminfo/x/xterm-ghostty
is wrong in my opinion
/usr/share/terminfo/x/xterm-ghostty belongs to the ghostty-terminfo package. You should not touch that.

This morning a new package ghostty-terminfo 1.2.3-3 was deployed which eliminates the conflict by removing /usr/share/terminfo/g/ghostty
# pacman -Ql ghostty-terminfo
ghostty-terminfo /usr/
ghostty-terminfo /usr/share/
ghostty-terminfo /usr/share/terminfo/
ghostty-terminfo /usr/share/terminfo/x/
ghostty-terminfo /usr/share/terminfo/x/xterm-ghostty
