Hello all. Am still learning about Linux and stumbled upon Endeavour last month and it had exceeded by expectations and became by go-to distro.
Yesterday I had clean installed Windows 11 and now I don’t have Grub boot menu loading. I had installed Endeavour OS on a different drive.
Could you please help me get the boot menu back.
If your system is UEFI, it is possible that all that happened is the default boot entry was changed. Go into your BIOS and see if there is an EndeavourOS entry you can set as the default.
If that doesn’t work, you will have to follow this:
Unfortunately my BIOS is locked, the password to which I had forgotten for ages. I hope your alternative recommendation works well.
I have a UEFI system. Thank you for helping me out with a super fast reply. Much appreciated
Yes, in that case you can try
efibootmgr which I believe is described in that article.
