Fresh install of 2019-12-03 first update getting error (conflicting files)

Hi,

I have just finished fresh install on my DELL Vostro 1520 laptop (9 years old but still going strong with SSD)

Performed first update which ended in error…

I was wondering if I should just delete the three files that exist in filesysystem?

Is that a safe thing to do with following type of command…

$ sudo rm /usr/share/endeavouros/EndeavourOS-icon.png

any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

at this moment we’re in the midde of a transition, but follow the next thread for the solution:
Eos-update-notifier update requires manual intervention

Thanks for quick response @Bryanpwo I did as you suggested and all is OK :grinning:
