Hello all,
I’m new to linux and haven’t built a computer in ~7 years so I just made a new one and only installed Endeavour OS to challenge myself and did that work. but now I can’t… lol
In short sometimes on boot the videocard output is just not being sent to the tv, other times when I can boot, the display goes dark if I’m not playing video/games and can’t wake it up even though the pc’s rgb lights are still on. Even while using it sometimes the audio stream stops for a moment (while time running) and then resumes after the glitch time.
I’ve tried going on the welcome menu and updating all mirrors in order to use this FAQ
however on the first step I get a “WARNING: failed to rate rsync/http(s) … Download timed out after 5 seconds” so did try to extend that timeout however don’t see if that’s the right approach, also saw in a forum that I could switch bios setting so uefi is correctly selected but don’t know this motherboard in order to know what to change.
Thank you for the help and if any logs/steps are needed I’ll do my best to accomodate
